UCLA junior Shae Anderson ran a collegiate-leading 52.07 seconds to win the women's 400 meters, which converts to 52.18 because of altitude, at the Don Kirby Elite Indoor Invitational at Albuquerque Convention Center in New Mexico. Anderson lowered her own indoor program record and also ran the leadoff leg for the Bruins' victorious 4x400 relay, which clocked 3:33.98. The relay converts to 3:34.42, which ranks No. 8 among collegiate programs this season.
